Bottleless Water Dispenser Cleaning InstructionsUpdated a year ago

To maintain the best performance and hygiene of your Countertop or Stand Up Bottleless Water Dispenser, we recommend cleaning every three to four months to dissolve mineral deposits, sanitize, and deodorize your unit. Please allocate around 30 minutes for this process.

You will need:
(2) cups of citric acid or distilled white vinegar,
(1) 2-gallon bucket
(1) Philips head screwdriver.

 Cleaning Steps:

  1.   Switch Off: Turn off the hot and cold switches on the unit.
  2.   Power Down and Water Valve: Unplug the power cord from the outlet and turn off the water inlet valve.
  3.   Access Rear: Move the unit away from the wall to access the back.
  4.   Remove Top Lid: Unscrew the screws from the top lid using your Philips screwdriver. Lift and pull back the lid to remove it.
  5.   Access Reservoir: Open the top cap of the reservoir to access the inside of the tank.
  6.   Dissolve and Dispense: Mix 200 grams of citric acid with hot tap water in the tank. Stir until dissolved.    Dispense a small amount of water from all taps, holding each down for 3 seconds.
  7.   Reassemble: Push down the reservoir lid until it clicks into place, then reattach the top lid.
  8.   Wait and Drain: Allow 20 minutes for the cleaning solution to work. Then, drain the water using the outlet at the back, placing a 2-gallon bucket underneath.
  9.   Final Steps: Once drained, replace the silicone plug and drain cap. Reconnect the power, turn on the water inlet valve, and switch on the hot and cold.
  10.   Final Check: After the tank refills, dispense a small amount of water from each tap. Your cooler should now be ready for normal use.
